Greenville, SC is a special place. There’s a feeling in the air that just makes you want to put down roots. If you’ve been here, you’ve felt it too. We may be a little biased, but here are a few reasons why we think you should consider calling Greenville ‘home.’
There’s so much to do, no matter what stage of life you’re in.
Few cities in America can say that their appeal reaches across generation gaps, but Greenville certainly can. Our city’s culture speaks to so many people, from hip young millennial professional starting businesses to retirees intent on getting the most out of their golden years. Whether you’re looking to dance the night away at one of our fabulous indie music venues or relax on our stunning golf courses, you’ll never be bored.
Greenville is in a great location.
Our city has so much to offer, but if you need to get away for awhile, it’s not too far from other bustling metropolitan areas. For instance, it’s 2 hours to Atlanta and 4 hours to Myrtle Beach. You’re also only 3 hours away from the effortlessly chic city of Charleston. For family friendly adventures, you’re just a days drive away from Disney World. It also only takes about an hour to get Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. As you can see, we really do have it all.
You’ll get gorgeous weather, all year round.
That’s right, we still get all four seasons – but in a mild and manageable way. Our average high in July is 88 degrees and our January low is 32 degrees.
But wait, there’s more!
This blog is the first in a series of ‘Reasons To Move To Greenville’, so if you’re not sold on relocating yet, check back next week for even more reasons why we love to call this place home.
